| The biggest handicap in the game is if your villagers go gluten-free. Then you need to harvest hummus and carrots from the next village over. It's not pretty. To reach the next village, you need to build a bridge and that requires researching water production. This is where the not so pretty part comes in. In order to research water, a villager needs to be sacrificed to the water god.
